Celebrity Baby Boom!

It's a big week for celebrity babies. This week, three TV actresses gave birth, two music stars became fathers and a reality TV couple announced that they are expecting their first child this summer.

On Tuesday, "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross gave birth to fraternal twin daughters in a Los Angeles hospital. Cross's rep told People magazine, "Mother and babies are all doing well." The daughters, who call Cross's stockbroker husband, Tom Mahoney dad, are named Eden and Savannah. That same day, "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" actress Amanda Peet and her screenwriter husband, David Benioff welcomed their first daughter. Frances Pen weighed 6 lbs., 10 oz. at birth. According to Page Six, Peet went into labor with her daughter just before she was planning on attending a lunch in Hollywood.

Tuesday also brought an announcement from celebrity couple Trista and Ryan Sutter of "The Bachelorette," who told People that they are going to have a baby. Trista said, "We are so happy after two years of trying." The couple don't know the sex of the baby and want to be surprised when it arrives in the summer.

Wednesday brought a baby for singer Jordan Knight of New Kids on the Block and his wife, Evelyn. Evelyn gave birth in Boston to Eric Jacob Knight, who weighed in a 7 pounds, five ounces and is the Jordan's second son. Of his other son, Dante Jordan, daddy said to People, "He wouldn't sleep for a day and a half until he saw his baby brother. He was priceless."

On Thursday "According to Jim" star Kimberly Williams-Paisley and country singer Brad Paisley became parents of a son. The baby was born in Nashville at 5 a.m. His name has not been released to the press. A publicist for the couple told People, "Mother and baby are resting comfortably."
