"I think we took too much,? Alexander admits. “We were taking capsules with pure MDMA inside. It wasn't pressed up into a tablet. It was the purest of the pure. I am a pretty big guy and at the time I was weighing 220 lbs and was extremely fit. We took two of those things. And it knocked my d--k in the dirt. Then it hit her and it hit her hard. In that situation, your body temperature heats up and you can die. She was sweating and overheating and her breathing was getting real slow. Other people were panicking. But we got her out the back and up to the suite. I took her into the bathroom and threw her into the shower. She was unconscious. She tripped and fell. I was trying to hold her up and speak to her. She wasn't moving.?
"She needs to knock herself down from the pedestal she thinks she is on and remember that she's just an old country girl,? says Alexander. “She needs a break from Hollywood. She should just be looking after her kids - not shaming herself by doing drugs."
In other news, over the weekend, in a 60-minute heart-to-heart the warring couple wept and hugged as Kevin Federline promised: "I'll stand by you if you clean up your act. I just want you to get well."
Kevin's change of heart occurred after he visited her at the Promises Clinic in Malibu, California, where she checked in for the third time in a week on Thursday.
The pal said: "Just a few days ago there was no love lost between the two of them, but it's taken Britney's breakdown to make Kevin realise that he still loves her. He's finally treating her with a bit of care for once. He told her he'll stand by her while she's recovering - but he doesn't want to put her under any pressure until she's got her life back together.
"And he admitted he's been having second thoughts about the split and thinks there may be hope of a reunion after she gets better.
"Britney told him that she just wants to take things one day at a time at the moment, but she was deeply comforted by his words."
Her secret pills suicide threat came last Sunday, shortly after she was snatched to safety while wandering in and out of traffic near her Malibu beachfront home.
A friend told the News of the World: "Britney was crying and said she would kill herself if she lost the boys. She had two bottles of Tylenol in front of her and just wanted the madness to end.
"She held up the painkillers and shouted, ‘I'm gonna do this, this is it! I'm through with the whole f***ing circus.' Luckily a female friend was with her and managed to talk her out of it."
