She said: "We're really excited to move to America. We can't wait. David is
really excited about his new deal and there are things I'm working on. I
have been looking at a lot of houses."
The former Spice Girl is determined the Beckhams' new home will be ideal for
the couple's three sons Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and 23-month-old Cruz.
She is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "I want to make sure
I pick the right one for David and the kids. I've seen some beautiful
places, but we want somewhere that looks like a nice home."
Victoria, 32, is expected to look at around 35 properties in total, all
valued between £5 million and £10 million.
But she is said to have her heart set on a £7.5 million mansion once owned
by singer Lionel Richie.
A source said: "She absolutely loves Lionel Richie's old place and who
wouldn't? The views over Los Angeles as spectacular."
The Spanish-style one-storey mansion located in the Hollywood Hills was
built in 1979 and was also previously owned by actress Billie Piper and her
ex-husband Chris Evans.
Meanwhile, Posh is already making LA retailers fall over themselves trying to entice her to their boutiques. to spend David's money
Posh contracted with a local LA kids boutique to custom design the bedrooms of Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, which TMZ reports will be at a cost of $100K.
Allegedly Victoria wants the rooms to have - what else - soccer everything, including artwork. The shop owner supplying all the goods told TMZ, "The idea is to make you feel like you're in a soccer stadium like dad."
Posh also bought up a myriad of assorted high end goodies to be shipped off to Beckingham Palace in England reports Monster & Critics
In other news, Geri Halliwell is convinced Victoria Beckham is pregnant.
Geri - who spent a lot of time with her former Spice Girls bandmate over the Christmas period - has apparently been telling friends that Victoria might be expecting her fourth child with her soccer player husband David.
According to Britain's Closer magazine, Geri said: "I think she's definitely expecting again. She hasn't been feeling well, has practically stopped drinking and has been really broody."
Geri - who has an eight-month-old daughter Bluebell Madonna, the result of a brief relationship with Hollywood scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi - also revealed mum-of-three Victoria has enjoyed spending time with her little girl.
She said: "Victoria is incredibly close to Bluebell and loved being with her when we went out skating."
Victoria has made no secret of her desire to have a daughter. She and David currently have three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
