Lindsay Lohan Loves Rehab!

Miu Miu Campaign girl, Lindsay Lohan , is loving rehab reports PEOPLE.

"She's been sending text messages from rehab saying she's the happiest she has ever been," a pal tells the magazine.

"She seems under control right now."

Lohan, 20, has been taking hikes and attending treatment meetings, since checking into rehab after a night her reported heavy drinking and drugs at a post-Golden Globes party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.

"She was a mess," a source close to the actress tells Us. "She was stumbling and slurring: her friends had to take care of her."

"She's been out of control," says a Lohan pal. "She was doing tons of pills, drinking every night."

"She was going out every night till 5 a.m., acting crazy," says a close source. "Going to AA meetings wasn't doing anything for her. She was still drinking."

"She had to get her sh-t together and get sober or else, literally, the girl could not work again," says the source.

People reports, family and friends, who had watched with increasing concern as she kicked off the new year by partying hard are happy .

"Hollywood's a really, really busy, scary place," says her mom, Dina. "She's getting a grip on her life."

In other news, Lindsay Lohan, won’t be traveling this week to Park City, Utah, where her film Chapter 27 will debut at the Sundance Film Festival reports Star Magazine.

Chapter 27’s premiere is slated for Today - but Lindsay’s handlers have quashed the actress’ trip. “Lindsay’s managers and agents decided Monday that Lindsay is not going to Sundance because they said her health comes first,�? a source tells Star. “Her health is her priority right now; everything else comes second.'
