Lindsay made a statement to the press that read, "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time." Her mother responded with her own statement: "I'm so proud of her. She's really in a good place right now, spiritually and mentally. She's in an amazing, phenomenal place. She's 20 and she's solid, and she's doing what she needs to do. I don't know that many people who are that secure. It's all about her, and getting back on track. She's fine - she's amazingly fine."
Us Weekly reports that Lindsay's rehabilitation is taking place at the Wonderland Center in L.A.'s Laurel Canyon. She was admitted on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m., wearing "black tights, a green flannel shirt, a leather jacket, and a black baseball cap that said 'Lola.'" An insider told Perez Hilton that Wonderland is "run by some of the same folks that used to work at Promises [rehab] in Malibu. Not only will she detox there and get treatment, but Wonderland is also a sober living home for people that have already finished rehab."
Another source for Perez claims Lindsay's decision to enter rehab came with help from an unlikely source: Brandon Davis. Davis catapulted to minor fame when he was videotaped calling Lindsay a "firecrotch" last year. The pair have since mended fences. Perez's snitch says, "Lindsay paid a visit to Brandon during his most recent stay in rehab. And he's been instrumental in getting her to get help."
