On Monday night, Jessica Biel stunned Golden Globes viewers in a silver, shimmery Valentino gown with an extremely low-cut back. Even Ryan Seacrest, who is around beautiful women all the time, was visibly impressed with Jessica's appearance that night. After he interviewed her on the red carpet, he had to announce as if to convince himself, "I'm not going to stare as she walks away." And Biel's allure is said to have caused a nasty argument between exes, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz as well.
It's only natural that the dress that got tongues wagging is getting some press. Unfortunately it's for the wrong reasons. In a flashback to last year's Golden Globes dress disaster, Biel discovered that her gown had been worn before by another actress. Hilary Swank had donned the same one for the 2004 Vanity Fair Oscar party. Last year, Reese Witherspoon wore inadvertently wore the same Chanel gown to the Globes that Kirsten Dunst had worn to the Golden Globes afterparties in 2003.
Jessica made a statement about her fashion faux pas, which read, "I loved this dress and felt great in it. It is unfortunate that I was told by Valentino no one had ever worn the gown before, but I think Hilary has amazing style, and I'm flattered we share the same taste." Valentino responded with the statement, "Valentino dresses are timeless, and each woman brings to them her own interpretation. Two beautiful actresses can be different and great even in the same dress."
