Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's superstitious wedding plans!

It looks like it's going to be a long engagement for Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs guard, Tony Parker. Instead of rushing to the altar like many other celebrities, Eva and Tony are choosing to wait. The NBA star popped the question in November, but Us Weekly claims that superstition has caused him to delay any wedding plans until the summer.

According to the magazine, Parker is determined to marry on July 7. An insider said, "Tony is extremely superstitious and thinks that 07-07-07 is the day most lucky to get married on." Perhaps adding to the luck for the couple will be the wedding's location, which is rumored to be Château de Chantilly, in Tony's home country of France. The 24-year-old chose France as the location for the ceremony because, "Tony wants her to feel that it's her day as well as his and Eva's," said a source.

Us Weekly claims that Eva is planning a trip to France in February with her wedding planner, Mindy Weiss. While they are there, they will settle on the flowers, menu and cake, along with Tony's mother. One detail that is already in the works is Eva's dress, which will be designed by Monique Lhullier. Lhullier also designed Britney Spears and "Lost's" Emilie de Ravin's wedding dresses. Both women are now separated from their husbands, but luckily for Eva, Tony's not superstitious about that.
