"Storch cleared out his house for her, and even got extra security to protect her kids while she was recording, but she never showed up," adds the source. "He was really annoyed then, but now to not show up with no real excuse is making them angry."
Though incredibly frustrated, the duo are not ready to give up on Britney yet. Our spy says, "They are still going to work with her on the album. I haven't heard anything about them completely ditching her."
Last week Britney Spears met up with her record label for crisis talks about the future of her career.
Jive Records reportedly tol Spears to stop partying and take more care of her public image if she wants to avoid being dropped by the company.
A source told the News of the World: "They're concerned for Britney because she's one of their priority artists. She's lost her edge and they worry she won't finish the album. The partying hasn't helped her image one bit. Her unofficial website has shut down because fans are leaving her in droves."
The insider added: "She had been in the studio, but was having real problems. It seemed like all that partying has caught up with her."
