Tori Spelling to write memoir
Candy Spelling better watch out, her estranged daughter Tori is in the process of writing a memoir. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster in spring 2008 and Spelling will likely enlist a ghostwriter to help out. Tori, who is pregnant with her first child with husband Dean McDermott, told USA Today that the book is not exactly a tell-all. "I feel there's a nasty connotation when you say 'tell-all.' That is not what I plan to do. It's not about calling people out or telling negative stories about people. It's how I see things," she said. The daughter of infamous TV producer, Aaron Spelling, Tori has been in the spotlight all of her life. She explained her reasoning for writing the book: "I think I'm a really good storyteller, so why not tell my stories in a humorous, self-deprecating book?...I learned my storytelling skills from [my dad]. He'd be really proud." The book will address the rumors that Spelling has undergone plastic surgery "in my terms," says the actress. "I will definitely talk about all my relationships and how I felt about them," she revealed. |
