They have even attended several showbiz events together - including the
recent Dolce and Gabbana party at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont Hotel at
which they arrived arm-in-arm - but refused to admit they were an item.
Now a source close to 48-year-old Stone has insisted they are dating, and
claims the 'Basic Instinct' actress is going to invite Slater, 37, to her
house for Christmas.
The source is quoted as saying: "They're both really happy - but they don't
have long-term expectations. It's a fun fling for the holidays and Sharon is
a good influence. She rarely drinks and has three kids. It's a good match
for now."
Slater's divorce from ex-wife Ryan Haddon was finalized in November.
The pair split in January 2005 citing irreconcilable differences as the
reason for the break-up. They have two children, daughter Eliana, five, and
seven-year-old son Jaden, together.
