Anderson explained that at the time of her marriage, she was caught up in the moment and would have married anyone who asked. She said, "It was a big mistake, but I was in St. Tropez, I would have married the fisherman on the corner! I think I just got swept up and I wanted to have a family for my kids, but you remember really quickly when you get back together why you're not together."

Pamela claims that her history with Kid was what attracted her to the idea of marrying him, but it was also the source of their problems. "We just knew each other," she said. "We both wanted a family, we both have kids. But when we were together it just wasn't a good thing. We're just two very different people."

In response to Rock's claims that Anderson was never around for her children, she called him "a liar." She said, "I was in Vancouver doing a movie three days a week, and I would come home for the four-day weekend to be with my kids. My mom and dad were here and Kid was in Detroit making an album, and they were here looking after his son, too!"

This wasn't the first time that Stern has broken news on Anderson. It was on the Howard Stern Show that Pam's plan to wed Kid was first announced. She had called Stern to tell him the news and he shared the announcement with his audience.
