No Wedding For Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have denied they are to marry this weekend.
The couple are holding a four-day celebration on a yacht off the Caribbean
island of St. Barts to mark the rapper's 37th birthday, but have denied
rumors that it is actually a secret wedding ceremony.

Beyonce, 25, recently said that she and pals were planning a birthday party for Jay-Z, who turned 37 on Monday – not a wedding, Reuters reports.

A spokesman for Beyonce said: "These reports are not true."
And a representative for Jay-Z said: "I have no knowledge if this."

Wednesday, the New York Post reported that the planned four-day bash was a screen for a secret Caribbean wedding that was to include a ceremony at the Cap Juluca resort on Anguilla and a party aboard a yacht anchored off St. Barts reports People Magazine

A source said: "Beyoncé is throwing Jay a four-day birthday party, but it's
really a wedding."
Insiders say friends and family invited to the celebrations were told to
have passport applications ready by last Friday (01.12.06) so they could
witness the pair exchanging vows.

Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly visited the exclusive venue earlier this year
and decided it would be perfect for their big day.

Beyonce recently told Elle that her song lyrics about cheating boyfriends don't reflect her own experience: "I'm sure people will read into that," she said, "but there's nothing to read into. Sorry to disappoint you!"
