Nick Lachey begs for Jessica Simpson blessing

Nick Lachey has called ex-wife Jessica Simpson to tell her he is getting
married again.
The singer is planning to marry new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo and wanted
to break the news to his ex-wife himself. He spent 40 minutes on the phone
explaining his intentions.

According to the National Ledger website, Nick told Jessica: "I'm getting
married again Jess and I wanted you to hear it from me."
The former 98 Degrees singer is allegedly hoping to be married by the end of
the year.
Despite being the first to file for divorce, Jessica reacted badly to the
news.
A source said: "She knew Nick and Vanessa were serious, but this threw her.
She did her best to contain her emotions."
The 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress has been linked to pop singer John Mayer
since her divorce - which was finalized this year - but recently rubbished
the rumors insisting she is single.

Speaking of Jessica Simpson, the pop beauty is being slammed by co-stars of the new movie "Working Girl" because she keeps forgetting her lines.

A source from the set says: "After the seventh take on one shot, the director hid a microphone in her ear so a crew member could feed her lines. Everyone was embarrassed for her, but she laughed it off, saying, 'I'm sorry, everyone. I'm sorry'."
