Jessica Simpson's WARDROBE MALFUNCTION?
Pop babe Jessica Simpson broke down in tears after her sexy dress almost fell off during a tribute performance to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Honors event on Nov. 3 reports Star Magazine As she sang a version of "Nine to Five" to honor Parton, reports say Jessica Simpson was seen on tape grabbing the strapless gown with one arm, while holding a microphone.
"Dolly, that made me so nervous," and "You fluster me." She was able to keep her gown up until the end of the song, but was visibly upset as she ran off stage. Later, Simpson was still in tears when she joined a group of other singers in a tribute to the country legend, TMZ reported. The fiasco was caught on tape, but CBS will l edit out the embarrassing episode when it airs the show Dec. 26. "Jessica was overcome with emotion while performing because she's idolized Dolly her whole life. They wanted the song to be perfect," explained Simpson publicist Cindy Berger. "After she made a mistake, she asked to re-do the song and then sang it again perfectly. She and Dolly hugged at the end . . . she came back, re-did the song, and was very happy with it." |
