Is Lindsay Lohan in AA?

There are few gals in Hollywood who party like Lindsay Lohan. Lohan can be seen at a different hotspot practically every night of the week, but plays down her devotion to the club scene in interviews. It seemed as though her reckless side was being tamed when she dated restauranteur Harry Morton - who is sober - earlier this year, but once they split she was back to her old ways. Now, as rumors swirl that she may recently have overdosed, Lindsay seems to finally be taking a step in the right direction.

Page Six is reporting that Lindsay was seen at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting near her apartment in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning. An insider confirmed to the gossip column, "She has attended several meetings and has hopefully decided to turn her life around - this time for good. She is out of control."

The pal claims that Lindsay didn't celebrate Thanksgiving with her family because she feared that "someone would force an intervention on her." Instead, Lindsay seems to have taken the step on her own. More evidence that Lindsay is considering joining AA can be found in the fact that she was seen carrying a copy of 12 Steps and 12 Traditions, one of the group's books.

Hopefully Lindsay is getting the help she needs. The Page Six source says that her loved ones are anxious that "she will really get serious about getting sober. And drop out of the limelight for a while."
