DJ AM using Nicole Richie

Troubled socialite Nicole Richie's ex-boyfriend DJ AM misses her fame.

'The Simple Life' star dated DJ AM - real name Adam Goldstein - for over two
years and they were engaged for nine months, but since they split Goldstein
has been missing the money he made as 'Nicole Richie's other-half'.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Adam has been asking around for
people to set him up with someone who has a name.

"Basically, he knows he can charge a lot more when he is attached to a
famous girlfriend. His rates have had to go way down since he split up with
Nicole."
Nicole, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, has been making plenty
of headlines on her own recently.
She was recently charged with driving under the influence of drugs after
police stopped her driving on the wrong side of the road.
The 25-year-old confessed she had taken the potent painkiller Vicodin and
smoked marijuana.

In other news, SFgate is reporting that Nicole Richie has stepped down as host of a Las Vegas New Year's Eve party following her arrest on DUI charges.

Steve Davidovici, of the Pure Management Group that runs the club, says, "We love Nicole, and we wish her the best. We hope to bring her back in the future."

Nicole has also been the subject of much public criticism over her dramatic
weight loss and her penchant for wearing real fur.
