She said: "The fuller your life is, the more of a well of reserves you have
to pull from. Because I have a full life, I can relate to certain kinds of
loss and certain kinds of love. I've had very extreme emotions and very
extreme things have happened in my life - good and bad."
Angelina is estranged from her father, actor John Voight, and has been
divorced twice.
Earlier this week, Angelina Jolie said she knew Madonna would run into
trouble by adopting a baby from Malawi - because of the country's uncertain
adoption laws.
'The Good Shepherd' actress - who has given homes to two underprivileged
children, five-year-old Maddox and Zahara, 23 months - says Madonna was open
to criticism and problems because Malawi has no set guidelines for such
cases.
She said: "Madonna knows very well that she adopted from a country without
legal adoption, so it was an unusual situation."
This week, Angelina Jolie also revealed her feelings on stealing another woman's husband
The actress - who first met partner Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith while he was married to Jennifer Aniston - says she hated her character in new movie, The Good Shepherd, because she seduces a married man, played by Matt Damon.
Angelina - who has a baby daughter with Brad, Shiloh - is quoted by Britain's Grazia magazine as saying: "She does one of the worst things a woman could do. One scene I actually had trouble shooting because I'm so against that behaviour.
"She seduces him, and entraps him into having a child. There's not much worse than that, is there? But they're both at fault. They both had sex that night."
Just last week, Angelina vehemently denied she and Brad had embarked on a relationship while he was still with Jennifer.
