Angelina Jolie slams Madonna

Angelina Jolie insists Madonna knew she would run into trouble by adopting a baby from Malawi - because of the country's uncertain adoption laws.
'The Good Shepherd' actress - who has given homes to two underprivileged children, five-year-old Maddox and Zahara, 23 months - says Madonna was open to criticism and problems because Malawi has no set guidelines for such cases.

She is quoted by Britain's New magazine: "Madonna knows very well that she adopted from a country without legal adoption, so it was an unusual situation."
Angelina - who also has a seven-month-old biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel with her partner Brad Pitt - insists she will not make the same mistake as Madonna next time she welcomes an unwanted child into her home.
She said: "I don't anticipate that being a problem for me because I don't intend to adopt a child from a country where there is no legal adoption."

Angelina's slam comes one month after Madonna slammed Jolie in a TIME interview

In the interview, the reporter asked Madonna about the perception that she's "jumping on a bandwagon" by adopting an African orphan.

One of the 'isms' that you're frequently accused of is dilletantism. You're new to Africa and these issues and there's a perception that you're jumping on a bandwagon, and bringing a child into it, too.

Look, I could have joined the U.N. and become an ambassador and visited various countries and just kind of showed up and smiled and looked concerned. But that's not getting to the root of the problem-and by the way, neither is building orphan care centers and giving people food and medicine. But it's a start. I'm saving people's lives. And whether I have earned the right to do it, or the respect of people who think I may not have the right to do it, is completely and utterly irrelevant. And in any event, no, I'm not interested in going in there like a dilettante and being an idiot and going 'Ok, I'm going to build 10 orphanages and I'll see you guys later!'

Weeks after, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly abandoned their plans to adopt an Indian
baby because of the controversy surrounding Madonna's recent adoption.

but have been put off by the criticism Madonna has received for adopting a
