Wedding Bells for Nick and Vanessa?

It's been almost a year since Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson announced their separation and, according to several sources, Nick is already thinking about getting married again. Is his girlfriend of several months, Vanessa Minnillo, also ready to take the next step with their relationship?

A source close to the couple has told Life & Style Weekly, "My prediction is they're going to get married. The two of them just look so happy!… Nick's not playing around. He wants marriage, kids, the works, and Vanessa's the right girl."

Nick and Vanessa, who celebrated their birthdays together earlier this week, may marry if he can convince her to give up on her hopes for a huge ceremony. Says another source for L&S, "[Nick's] pushing for a quickie wedding, and promising a big ring," but Vanessa has always wanted a "fairy-tale wedding with hundreds of guests."

Whether or not marriage is in the cards, Nick and Vanessa are certainly smitten with each other. During their birthday celebration at Social in Hollywood, Vanessa was overheard Vanessa saying, "Nick's just the best. I'm lucky." And another Social patron said, "Some part of [Nick and Vanessa's] bodies were touching all night - hand-holding, kissing, hand on the knee."
