Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to marry in haunted Italian castle

The Italian castle where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting married is
haunted.
The Hollywood couple are expected to tie the knot in Rome this weekend at
Odescalchi Castle, which is said to be frequented by the ghost of a murdered
duchess.
The grand property was built on the picturesque shores of Lake Bracciano in
the second half of the 15th century for the aristocratic Orsini family.
Legend has it that Paolo Giordano I Orsini's much younger wife, Isabella
de'Medici, would let her lovers into her chambers through a secret door.
Those that did not satisfy her were flung out of a separate door down a
spiked well.

In other news, Jessica Simpson's mane man, Ken Paves, has edged out famed stylist Oscar Blandi to do Katie Holmes' hair for her Nov. 18 wedding to Tom Cruise, Life & Style has learned exclusively.

Ken landed yesterday in Rome, reporting for TomKat wedding duty, one insider tells Life & Style.

Oscar did Katie's hair for about 12 years, and then she introduced him to Tom and he did Tom's hair on Mission Impossible III, says an insider close to Blandi.

"So there were all of these reports that he was doing her hair for the wedding, but he's not," the insider says. "He's so bummed because he doesn't know what to tell people. He's not mad; he's disappointed. He always did Katie's hair. And for the last couple of years, he's done Tom's. He thought he was a sure thing to do this wedding. But he never got the call."

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham admits she can't wait to see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
get married.
The former Spice Girl and her footballer husband David have both been
invited to the ceremony taking place at Odescalchi Castle,
which was built in the 15th century, on the outskirts of Rome on Saturday
(18.11.06).
Victoria, who has become close friends with Katie in recent months, has been
excited about the nuptials for weeks.
In an interview with British radio station Heart, she said: "I'm sure the
wedding will be absolutely amazing and I am really looking forward to just
being part of it with them. Tom and Katie are good friends are mine and
David's. They are two incredibly special people."
Although she is lucky enough to be one of the guests, Victoria has denied
she has been giving 'Batman Begins' actress Katie style advice leading up to
the big day.
She added: "Despite what you might have read, I'm not the wedding planner.
"She doesn't need any style tips from me. She's beautiful, she's gorgeous,
she has got an amazing body and an amazing sense of style. She's one of my
closest friends but doesn't need any style tips from me."
Other stars believed to be attending the wedding - which is reportedly going
to be a Scientology service in keeping with Tom's beliefs - include Jennifer
Lopez, Jim Carrey and fellow Scientologists Will Smith and his wife Jada
Pinkett Smith.
It has also been reported that the couple are having a Catholic ceremony as
well to appease Katie's parents Kathy and Martin.
