Tobey Maguire is a daddy

There's a Spider-Girl in the world now. Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire's fiancée, Jennifer Meyer gave birth to the couple's first child last Friday, reports People magazine.

Maguire's rep confirmed the birth but did not give any details on the child's name, length or weight. In an interview with USA Today conducted before the birth, Meyer, who is the daughter of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer, said, "Let's just say this is truly the best time of my life. I'm walking on air. I'm getting married, starting a family and have an amazing company." Jennifer designs jewelry that is worn by many celebrity clients.

The couple, who have not announced a date for their wedding, has been dating for three years.
