Ted Haggard Admits Steamy Gay Massage & Meth Purchase
Shamed Evangelist Ted Haggard admitted Friday that he bought the dangerous drug methamphetamine (METH) and received a massage from a gay prostitute who claims he was paid for drug-fueled trysts by the outspoken gay-marriage opponent. Methamphetamine releases high levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which stimulates brain cells, enhancing mood and body movement. In addition to possible physical and psychological damage, meth use often leads to compulsive sexual behaviors that increase the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Evangelist Ted Haggard, 50, resigned Thursday as president of the National Association of Evangelicals and stepped down as leader of his Colorado mega-church while the two groups investigate the allegations. Talking to reporters outside his house Friday, Haggard denied the sex allegations but said he did buy meth from the man because he was curious. "I bought it for myself but never used it," he said.

what is it with republicans and gay sex? do they just not want us to know they are gay so they take an extreme public stance against it. Why don't they just come out of the closet and see that nobody cares that they are gay?
Do you think cheney shot that guy in the face just to prove how butch he is so no one would suspect he is gay?

This only proves again that Jesus has never said that human beings are perfect, in fact He said we are all sinners, thats just the point Jesus is the only way not our leaders on earth. Turn your focus to salvation not condemnation. Bring back the Book of Daniel on NBC, it might teach us to have our own personal relationship with Jesus and stop worshiping or looking up to human leadership. dl

Richard Dawkins interviewed Ted Haggard recently; the report is viewable at YouTube.com:

The report gives some insight into "who really is Ted Haggard". Towards the end, Haggard appears extraordinarily arrogant and bullying, and deceptive.

Ted Haggard just demonstrates once again the hypocrisy of Christianity and it's refuge for sexual offenses, pedophiles, gross law breakers and scam artists. There is nothing Christian about Christianity in America today. Thanks for reminding us Ted.

...the whole world judges the creator by His creations. If you remember your Sunday school God wiped out mankind once because "his every inclination was evil" ... Why would anyone think that has changed much?
