Scarlett Johansson Smokes To Ease Pain?

Scarlett Johansson has infuriated her neighbors by chain-smoking.
The 22-year-old actress refuses to open her windows when she lights up and
the smoke is wafting into the hall of her apartment block and causing a
stink with the fellow residents.

'The Black Dahlia' star has reportedly turned to the nasty nicotine habit in
a bid to get through a rough patch with her actor boyfriend Josh Hartnett,
who is currently shooting '30 Days of Night' in New Zealand.
A neighbor revealed to Life and Style Weekly magazine that when he
confronted Scarlett about the smell, with an apartment supervisor in tow,
she snapped: "Don't you read the newspaper? I am going through a difficult
time right now."
The supervisor then suggested she just open the window slightly to avoid
further disagreements, to which Scarlett retorted: "Sure, I'll open the
window, and that will fix everything."
Scarlett is reportedly still reeling over recent allegations that Josh was
spotted enjoying a weekend in Sydney with his co-star, New Zealand actress
Amber Sainsbury, sparking more rumors their relationship is on the rocks.

She told the New York Post newspaper: "It is a joy because you get a big fat
feast and then cake and presents and everyone's giving you attention."
The 'Lost In Translation' star's last birthday was a more thrilling
adventure. She celebrated it with a lap dance in a New York strip club, but
found the racy experience "horrible".
She revealed earlier this year: "Me and my brother wanted to go to a strip
club, so we went there. I had this very tall girl. She was quite manic and
strange.
"So she's kind of gyrating into me but she was so thin that her pelvic or
hip bone, or some kind of bone, bruised me. It was horrible!"
