Renee Zellweger speaks about Kenny Chesney

Renee Zellweger has finally spoken out about her 128-day marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney and she's called it "the biggest personal mistake of my life."

In an interview with Now magazine, Zellweger said of her split from Chesney, "I felt a fool. I wanted to run away and hide. I was going through an intensely private situation. I didn't want to share it with the world. So I hid myself away and wondered if I'd ever again want to do another film or visit another country. I just couldn't face people and I needed a long time to recover."

The actress explains the mistake she made in marrying Kenny by saying, "I was going through huge life changes at the time. I wanted to stop and be a girl for a while." But Renee's definition of "being a girl" didn't end up fitting in to her lifestyle. She says, "There was no alternative but to let [the marriage] go. I don't believe in hanging on to relationships if they aren't working. And this wasn't going to work."
