Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe divorce update

Abbie Cornish, the Australian actress who broke up Hollywood's golden couple, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe was a no show at the premiere for her new movie, "Candy," co-starring Heath Ledger reports PageSix.

Reese Witherspoon look-a-like , Cornish, has denied the claims but sources spilling to PageSix say Cornish staying away from the scene at the Tribeca Grand was a big surprise, that kind of shyness is a big change from the past, according to one source, who said Cornish and Phillipe flaunted their relationship on the set of "Stop Loss." "He took her to the movies, they went to dinner, everything in public," said the spy.

Star reports Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe has been undergoing serious relationship troubles secretly for a long time. Only after their separation did reports come out of Ryan's long history of infidelity, and Reese's inability to stand for it anymore. Reese discovered that Ryan had romantic liaisons with co-star Abbie Cornish, from a suggestive text message, but Star uncovered that this relationship was only the beginning of a long string of unfaithfulness. Ryan was spotted with a busty brunette at the Cactus Club hotel, visited the infamous Brandi's strip club, where fellow partier Ben Affleck flirted without fiance Jennifer Lopez, and partied from dusk until the early morning despite visits from his Reese and their children. Sources say that Reese's huge earnings may be a source of insecurity for Ryan whose salary is dwarfed by Witherspoon's, and this translates into a total lack of respect for Reese. However, in the no-fault state of California, despite his cheating ways, Ryan could stand to make millions in the divorce proceedings. Married without a pre-nup, Ryan could take up to half of Reese’s $110 million fortune.

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Ryan Phillippe says, “I’m not a perfect person, but I’m not guilty of a lot of the things I have been accused of. My priority is and always has been the health and safety of my family."

Phillippe, 32, and Witherspoon, 30, have a daughter Ava, 7, and son Deacon, 3.

Phillippe did not comment on reports that he had a relationship with Abbie Cornis. But his reps vehemently deny other recent allegations of hard partying and drug use.
