Paul McCartney Slams Heather Mills
Sir Paul McCartney has reportedly slammed his estranged wife Heather Mills as a gold digger and liar. The former Beatle was spotted at an Eat cafe in Soho Square in London last week with a friend of his late wife Linda, Peter Cox. Heather Mills had hoped the 20 hours of tapes would support her During lunch, Sir Paul McCartney was overheard in the London café telling literary agent Peter Cox that his Another onlooker reported: “Paul didn’t seem to be worried about who was listening or he wouldn’t have spoken the way he did.� “Paul said, ‘When I first met her she was fantastic. It was good, really good. At first’. Then he said something about how he had been grieving for Linda at the time and that he had lost track of life. I realized that he was talking about Heather.� “It was obvious to everyone listening, and believe me everyone was listening, that he was very upset. The man is devastated.� “He said that Linda had always been happy to stay out of the limelight but that Heather seemed to crave it. Then he said he had liked this at first but after a while it got very wearing. Then he said something about how in Linda’s case she never felt the need to make a statement, before going into a very unflattering comparison of her with Heather. “Paul said he was trying to put it all to the back of his mind but said he was ‘entrenched’ by it. He said he had tried to remain on friendly terms with her after they separated but then said she ‘flipped’.� “He said, ‘I was prepared to settle things amicably but suddenly Heather turned and something happened to her after that. She has told so many lies like the one about me being a drunk - just because I sometimes go to pubs. It’s all a pack of lies you know, that I am stingy - that’s another one’.� |
