Pop babe Madonna, is inspiring others to help.

"My work in Malawi has just begun," Madonna pledged. Besides adopt­ing David, Madonna has donated $3 million to support orphan care in the impoverished country. And her good influence is rubbing off on her famous friends - via their hairstyl­ists! Madonna’s personal tresser, Andy Lecompte, and other stylists at the Chris McMillan salon in LA (where Jen Aniston, Lindsay Lohan and Salma Hayek get coiffed) are donating a portion of their incomes to Raising Malawi (raisingmalawi.com) through this year reports LIFE & STYLE.

During Madonna's Oprah appearance, the singer said she feared the drama surrounding her adoption of an African child would overshadow the message of help she intended to send.
