Lindsay Lohan a cutter?

Freckled face beauty Lindsay Lohan is being accused on being a cutter.

As pictures emerged today, of the Mean Girls star's arms showing a series of bizarre cuts, she was rounding off her eventful evening with notorious lothario Calum Best, 25 reports Daily Mail UK.

Lohan has been wearing a series of bandages and wristbands in recent weeks, and the scars now showing have sparked fears that she has fallen victim to self-harming.

However, this has been denied by her US publicist, who says she had scraped herself in a fall in some bushes.

The 20-year-old actress, who appears to have been single-handedly keeping the London club circuit financially happy and entertained this week, eclipsed even her own hard party antics last night as she once again painted the capital red.

Shocked experts said the gouges bore all the hallmarks of a condition that afflicts increasing numbers of youngsters.

Mean Girls star Lindsay, who has battled anorexia and admits to taking drugs, also wore a plaster on a right finger at the party - which followed the World Music Awards on Wednesday at London’s Earls Court.

Expert Jan Sutton, who has written two books on self harm, said grimly: “The photographs have all the telltale signs.

“The arms are the most common place for self injury.

“Some of the scars are fresh and just above those there are a number of injuries which look older. They are called keloid scars and are just beginning to disappear. It would be difficult to argue this is an accident as there are just too many scars.�

Lindsay has told in the past how she feared she would die after years of punishing her frail body. She recently confessed to having “hit rock bottom�. Last July she was taken to hospital while shooting her latest film Georgia Rules.

Lindsay admitted her eating disorder had returned to plague her, saying: “I was making myself sick. Sometimes being that thin doesn’t look healthy. I kind of didn’t realise that.�.�
