Keira Knightley and boyfriend headed toward Splitsville

Though reports surfaced last week that she was preparing to wed, Keira Knightley and her boyfriend of 10 months, Rupert Friend, are on the verge of calling it quits, claims one close source.

The source tells the Daily Mirror's 3AM girls that the couple's tension is due to Keira's tireless work ethic and Rupert's jealous streak. An insider said, "Keira's a really loving girlfriend but she's so insanely busy with work it's untrue. She's done everything in her power to make Rupert feel important but he still complains that he doesn't get enough attention, and it's causing real friction."

The source reveals that Rupert once got into an argument with Keira’s Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Orlando Bloom, which really bothered the actress. The snitch said, “Keira as she doesn't like her personal life spilling over into her work. She's very professional and won't let anything or anyone mess that up."

Keira reportedly rebuffed Rupert’s proposition that they move in together. Said the source, "She loves him but they've had some intense talks about where it's going. She's too young to settle down and she knows that work has to be her priority. It's up to Rupert to decide whether he can deal with that - if not their days as a couple look numbered."
