Pop babe Britney Spears made a surprise appearance on David Letterman to promote Will Ferrell's new movie. Britney Spears showed off a blunt blonde bob , and her svelte body.

"Oh, my god," he exclaimed, standing up to shake her hand and plant a kiss behind her ear. "Hi, how are you? Nice to see you. Oh, you look wonderful."

"Thank you so much," she said. "I'm in town, and I'm just such a huge fan. I had to stop by."

"That's very nice of you to say," said Letterman. "That means so much to me."

Said Spears: "Uh, no, I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about Will Ferrell."

According to US magazine, Britney's new body is all natural, Britney went on a strict diet and dance regime to shift her baby weight after delivering Jayden by Caesarean section on September 12.but gossips say the pop princess had a tummy tuck. According to NW magazine, the pop princess was dying to have her old, fab body back and requested the delicate, cosmetic surgery be scheduled after giving birth because taking some time off to work with a personal trainer and exercise would just take too long.

Last week, Britney - who has an older son, Sean Preston - celebrated
slimming down to a size 6 by spending $10,000 on new clothes.
The 24-year-old mother-of-two went to Barneys, in Beverly Hills, where she
blew thousands of dollars on a new wardrobe.
A source at the store said: "She didn't buy any tracksuits but she did get
some soft clingy sweaters."

Meanwhile, Britney Spears has put husband Kevin Federline on a diet.
The 'Toxic' singer has devised a healthy eating plan for her tubby hubby
after he piled on the pounds during her second pregnancy, with son Jayden
James, to make her feel better about her body shape.
Although Britney has shed her baby weight with a gruelling exercise regime
and a healthy diet, Kevin admits he has struggled to get back down to his
regular size.
He told People magazine: "I gain the sympathy weight and she loses it in two
weeks after she has the baby. It is daddy fat. It comes and goes, but
sometimes she'll tell me to get my butt in the gym."
