For the first time ever, MySpace marries its Secret Shows free concert series with its Black Carpet film screening series for an evening with Tenacious D in honor of the release of their second album and highly anticipated film, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
Tenacious D will perform new and classic hits for an audience of fewer than 500 MySpace users and fans, which will be followed by an advance screening of the film. Before the performance, the first 50 people in line will witness history when Jack Black and Kyle Gass leave a permanent impression in the cement outside the historic Vista Theater in Los Feliz.
Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny is available on Epic. The movie of the same name hits theaters on Wednesday, November 22.

Multi-Platinum Rapper The Game made an impromptu appearance took over Times Square yesterday, to celebrate the release of his sophomore album, Doctor’s Advocate, in stores now. Followed by dozens of members of Czar Entertainment’s street team members who were dressed in branded doctor’s uniforms, holding up picket signs and screaming through bull horns to promote the new album, Game walked from block to block for almost 2 hours, signing autographs, taking pictures and graciously thanking his fans for their support.
