At first, parents were amused to see Angelina shooting in the school premises. Then, it gave way to chaos.
Parents filed a complaint with police against the school's management and an unnamed bodyguard.
Production company Dallington TV, which was behind the shoot, said photographers and television cameramen were to blame. "We had permission and co-operation of the school to film on the premises," Dallington said in a statement. "When the gates were opened to allow the parents in, the paparazzi rushed the school, causing confusion." Angelina's rep declined to comment.
Shainaz Khan, a parent, said. "The school premises was restricted to us and we could not find our children. Angelina's bodyguard abused many of us, including women, and some of them also passed racist comments like 'You bloody Indian.' It was humiliating."
Angelina says. "It is not surprising that the press involved failed to mention their share of the responsibility in the chaos," Angie said in a statement. "As for this horrible rumour that someone referred to a local man as a 'bloody Indian,' let me say this: I would never work with anyone that was derogatory towards another man's race. My family is of mixed race."
The film unit had apparently set up a Pakistani police station inside the school premises.
This was not the first altercation involving Angelina's guards in India. An AP photographer recently claimed that Jolie's guards hit him and threatened him with a gun. Earlier, a guard manhandled a British photographer, grabbing him by the neck.
