It is believed Katie, 27, and Tom, 44, opted for an Italian wedding because
it was in Rome where they confirmed their relationship with a very public
kiss on the set of 'Mission: Impossible III'.
According to local newspaper reports, the date of the big day is November 23
and the ceremony will be conducted by a local mayor.
Yesterday (15.10.06) a source said: "The wedding is scheduled for mid
November. Kate had looked at various hotels but the venue is set to be
George Clooney's villa."
The couple - who have a five-month-old baby daughter, Suri - are also
rumoured to have purchased one of the three properties Clooney owns in the
Northern Italian village of Laglio for £3.5 million.
Clooney often invites his Hollywood pals to spend time at his Villa Oleandra
residence. Previous guests include Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and his partner
Angelina Jolie and Richard Gere.
