Pete Doherty fights a paparazzo

Rocker Pete Doherty has gotten in trouble again. The 27-year-old Babyshambles frontman got into a bloody brawl with a paparazzo in Rome last night.

Doherty was in Rome for a gig at the Piper club with Babyshambles. The reason for the fight is not known, but London’s Evening Standard newspaper reports that Pete jumped on the photographer outside of his hotel and repeatedly punched him. The singer then began to wrestle the paparazzo.

By the time Pete and the photographer were pulled apart, Pete had a gash in his head that was “pouring� out blood. Pete’s bandmates and several fans treated to the wound at the scene of the fight. The Evening Standard claims that the photographer went to the hospital and may press charges against Doherty.
