Paris Hilton is single

Simple star, Paris Hilton claims she is single - and liking it.

The sexy socialite - who received a beat down recently told LuxeLife: “There’s no serious dating anybody at the moment. I’m flying fancy free and enjoying being single and solo.�
“It’s a time for me to have a lot of friends and not get tied down with somebody serious.�

Meanwhile, interview with US TV show EXTRA, Shanna Moakler categorically stated that she did not punch Paris Hilton.

Tensions between Hilton and Moakler began when Hilton was spotted in a lip-lock with Moakler's estranged husband, Travis Barker, at a New York club last month.

"I absolutely did not punch Paris Hilton," she said.

Susan Madore, Moakler's rep, admitted that while the actress had "exchanged words" with Hilton, she was the one who had been injured by Paris' ex Stavros Niarchos who not only shoved her, but also twisted her wrists and poured a drink on her.

"Shanna exchanged words with Paris. Stavros entered and said he was going to 'hit' and 'beat' Shanna. Shanna replied, 'You're going to hit me? I'm a woman.' "Stavros then shoved her downstairs, twisted her wrists behind her back and poured a drink on her," Madore said.
