According to the plan, the ladies would both be on the island, but would be filmed separately. Neither lady liked the plan. So Paris, tired of the problems the feud was causing, sent Nicole a text message, simply saying, "I don't want to go to Fiji."
And after that, they began talking, and resumed their old friendship reports Star Magazine.
"It's like we were never in a fight," Paris says. "We just picked up our friendship just like we were."
'Simple Life' producer Jon Murray said: "The thing the viewers love is the
two girls together. America, Paris and Nicole are going to camp."
Murray insists the show won't ignore their bust-up but will instead look at
"what led to the breakdown in the friendship and maybe some of the
misunderstandings and things that got in the way".
Now Nicole’s other friends tell Star that Paris is only returning to Ritchie’s side to try to maintain her rapidly fading chances at fame. Another friend says that it’s Nicole who’s in it for business, staging a friendship to boost ratings for the upcoming fifth season of The Simple Life. However, the pair has been spotted all over town together, shopping, lunching, and sharing memories at a friend’s grave. Is it the real thing? After their longtime argument, fans wonder if this time around, Hilton and Ritchie are friends for love, or for money?

I disagree because money isn't everything. People who think it is are foolish. you should be someones friend because you want to and they mean a lot to you not because of money. Money may get you places but being selfish wont.
