Kate Moss demands that Doherty quit his band

Is this the end of Babyshambles? Pete Doherty’s band may be on its last legs as his girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss, has ordered that he quit. According to British newspaper, the Sun, Doherty called his bandmates to Moss’s home over the weekend to discuss her request.

The Sun reports that the couple got into a huge fight on Thursday night after Babyshambles played at the Brixton Academy. Kate had discovered that Pete, fresh from rehab, had started using crack again. She demanded that he halt the tour and get clean again.

An insider told the Sun, "Pete has pledged his love to Kate and is desperate for a baby with her. But she is refusing to commit to a long-term future unless he dumps his band and his old druggie friends. He immediately cancelled the tour but now he is considering quitting the group altogether. Kate wants him to prove that he can settle down and live a normal life."
