Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong have denied claims they are gay
lovers.
The pair - who are often photographed together shirtless - have laughed off
rumors that their close friendship has turned physical.
Matthew joked to Details magazine: "We tried it. It wasn't for us.
"A lot of people don't understand friendship and brotherhood. I have a great
friend in him. I'd do anything he asked me to, even though he'd probably
never ask me to, and he feels the same way."
Seven-time Tour de France cycling champion Lance - who called off his
engagement to singer Sheryl Crow earlier this year - admits he and Matthew
had no idea their bond would develop into something so strong.
He explained: "Our friendship just kind of developed. He got out of a
relationship and I'd just gotten out of a relationship.
"I think people see pictures and they think we're these overgrown frat guys,
but we all have those kinds of relationships - and relationship isn't a bad
word."
Lance elaborated: "I mean, we all have buds, we all take guy trips, but you
take something very normal and you put it in a magazine, and people start
talking."
In November issue, Armstrong, 35, also revealed some other Details.
On entering the NYC Marathon for fun:
“People actually think I’m racing to win. I’m like, ‘Seriously?’ Forget it.
On his ex, Sheryl Crow:
“We had a lot of love for each other, and I think we still do.
On trying to raise money for cancer research:
“I asked the president for a billion dollars and I kind of expected to hear, ‘Sure!’ But instead I got a ‘Well, I’ll get back to you on that,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, I don’t think you heard me.’
On giving up professional cycling:
“I don’t miss it. I was afraid I’d miss the thrill. But I’m so sure that I don’t want to end up second or third that I was happy to walk away.
On always being suspected of taking performance-enhancing drugs:
“There are people who, under this pressure, would crack, but the fact is, they’ve chased and chased and I’ve never gone away. They’ve caught everybody before me, they’ve caught everybody after me. They’ve chased me for years, and they got nothing. That’s a pretty big eff-you right there.
On being retired:
“It’s nice to be able to take a leak and not worry about somebody busting in and wanting a sample.

Nothing wrong with being gay.
Working out on bikes with NO SHIRTS on can be an sublimal attempt to attract the person next to u?
If not gay, wear t shirts. Again, if they are not, and wish to dispel rumors, don't ignite one.
