According to People magazine, the following day Owen was spotted playing catch with Kate's two-year-old son Ryder - from her failed marriage to estranged husband Chris Robinson - at the front of her Pacific Palisades home.
Both Owen and Kate, who is yet to file divorce proceedings against Chris, have vehemently denied they are dating and insist they are just good friends.
A source said: "Kate is just trying to figure her life out."
Now it seems that Kate may be ready to try out another slightly adulterous main squeeze, despite the fact that she and Robinson have yet to officially file for divorce reports Star Magazine.
Kate is slated to begin filming Fool’s Gold in the isolated tropical location of Brisbane , Australia with hottie and former co-star, Matthew McConaughey. In 2003, the duo sparked on-screen in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and had only good things to say about each other after filming wrapped. McConaughey even remarked to the press during promotions that, “I may have already met the right woman…but obviously not at the right time.? Was he referring to then-married Kate Hudson?
