Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson play tug-of-war with their son

Kate Hudson has just left for Australia to shoot a movie, leaving her boyfriend of two months, Owen Wilson behind. But one man she's not leaving behind is her son, Ryder - even though Ryder's father, Hudson's ex, Chris Robinson wanted to be left in charge of the child. According to Life & Style Weekly, Chris hoped that he would get to watch over nearly 3-year-old Ryder for part of the five months that Kate is in Australia shooting Fool's Gold with Matthew McConaughey. A friend of the actress' told the magazine, "Chris has been pleading with Kate to let him have Ryder for a month while she's in Australia. There's no way she will let that happen. It's a dead-end conversation." Robinson is trying his best to stay in his son's life since it appears that he is being replaced by Wilson. As an insider recently told Us Weekly, Kate has made Owen "part of the family" and Chris is jealous. Kate has tried to calm Chris about the situation, in particular, telling him that Owen had not been playing with Ryder outside her Malibu home, despite reports to the contrary. But, "He doesn't believe her," says L&S's source. The tattler told L&S, "[Chris is] very frustrated with the whole situation right now. He feels like he doesn't have any control, and basically he doesn't, especially because he's still touring with his band." |

You know Chris doesn't stand a chance in all this, look at Kate, she was yanked from her real father, and doesn't talk to him to this day. The child is the spitting image of Kate, history is going to repeat herself (itself)

Look like kate turn into her mother.Her mum took her kid away from their father and make kurt their father.Their real father don't stand a chance against Goldie Hawn.
Chris don't let this happen to you.You have a right to demand more time with your son.

I believe Kate does have contact with her father. I read something about them not too long ago.

Yea Vicki, they probably said hello on the phone for about 2 minutes (Kate and her dad), and yes, he looks like a little Kate with that extra long hair and he's supposed to be a boy!

Well, maybe then he should stop touring for a while, and spend more time with his child. Kate is always out and about with the kid, looking after him ect, yet there are hardly any pictures of him with his son.
