Jessica Simpson to Nick: You’re A Girlie Man!
The catalyst for Jess’ ‘wuss’ rampage? Nick’s divorce petition says the source. In the official papers, filed earlier this year, he left the door open for to ask her for alimony. “Jess’ response was that a real man would never ask for alimony! She can’t get over the fact that Nick wasn’t embarrassed to publicly ask her for money. Nick has been doing a great job not saying anything negative about his former wife, however, Jess is will to talk about her new Nick theory to anyone that will listen. “She talks allot about how when she and Nick would argue, he used to cry. She thought then it meant he was in touch with his emotions, but now she thinks it was a sign of his weakness.� What else is a sign of his weakness? “Jess keeps making fun of his music saying that he writes ‘girlie man songs,’� the source says. “Jess was so disgusted by Nick’s album, What’s Left of Me that she put on a pair of heels and stomped on her copy of the CD, smashing it to smithereens,� says the source. Jess’ rep denies that she called Nick name sand stomped on his CD. Friends of Jess also report that she says when she does settle down again “she wants the anti-Nick- a macho guy.� Last week, Nick Lachey admitted that he took to alcohol to numb his pain, after splitting from Jessica Simpson. The former '98 Degrees' frontman confessed to US chat show host David Letterman that he tried to "drown his sorrows." "I definitely think you go through different phases and there's certainly a phase of, 'Oh, I don't care about anything - I'm going to throw myself into a little bit of booze and kind of numb the pain,'" CelebRag.com quoted the star, as saying. "I went through a little bit of that and came out on the other side and still have some sobriety left," he added. Lachey also revealed he blames reality show 'Newlyweds' for the breakdown of his marriage. "It was among the dumber ideas I think I've ever seen executed in history. For a while, I think we actually enjoyed doing the show. It was just so invasive that it became a problem," he said. |

This is the first "negative" I have seen about Nick supposedly said by Jess. Nick has been taking pot shots at Jess thru the whole divorce. Nick has never taken responsibility for any of the divorce - blames everyone but himself. He drank before the divorce, and did a pretty good job of it from articles. Jess has never stated one reason for the divorce on her side, never laid blame before like Nick has. He just wants sympathy and people to feel sorry for him

jessica needs to disappear. she is so fake. when the money got good she forgot about her marriage and became a person that is so selfcentered. i will no longer support anything that jessica's name is attached to.
jessica and her family used nick to get ahead. jessica was a nobody until she married nick lachey. her days are numbered before she is completely gone!!!!!

i dont think jessica would have said that or done that to his cd at all. she is a really sweet girl and so what if she did say it nick has been blating saying stuff about her which is horrible and then writes a complete album on the divorce making it public, then he decided he dont want his divorce in the public eye, well you should have though about that before you made your entire album on it dumb a**! i love jess new album, she rocks and she's so true, we do belong to ourself

What utter garbage!!! I heard the other day he took a potshot of her DURING a performance and then smiled at Vanessa. She did nothing but further his silly little existence...Hes only still popular cause he was married to her. Yeah he is a wuss-a wuss that rides on coattails. Isnt it ironic that he started dating Vanessa just when hes got a new album out and hey shes got all kindsa contacts at Mtv. Isnt that convienent for him???

She has said negative things about him before. She alluded to the fact that maybe Nick isn't very well endowed. Really bitchy if you ask me. He didn't run around on her, yet she talks that kind of smack about him. Low blow in my opinion and totally uncalled for. The girl started believing her own press and decided that she was too good for him. I honestly believe that she will never find true happiness with a man unless she gets some SERIOUS long term psychotherapy to undo the damage her daddy did to her.

She has just now realized what a horrible person she has been and is trying to make herself feel better by tring to ruin his life, like she tried to do before...She comes off as a very self centered attention hog and when she wasn't getting enough she decided she wanted someone that would be "manly" and worship her every move every hour of every day. I'm glad she left him because she is one of those miserable souls that will never be satisfied with happiness
