Angelina Jolie in Agony?

Famous for multi-tasking and traveling the globe on humanitarian missions with a bevy of children in tow, Angelina Jolie may have finally reached her overload point reports Star Magazine. Only weeks before her departure to India with hubby Brad Pitt, and their three children, Angelina received the devastating news that her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, 56, who has been fighting against uterine cancer for five years, may have only months to live. A source tells Star that neither chemotherapy treatments or radiation have been able to stop the cancer from spreading, and besides providing morphine for pain, doctors may be able to do little else to help Marianne’s condition.

Angelina Jolie has a very close bond with her mom. In an interview years ago, Jolie revealed that her mother's decision to allow her to live with her first boyfriend when she was just 14 helped cement their close bond.

The beauty says she never kept secrets from her mother MARCHELINE BERTRAND, because she proved she trusted the TOMB RAIDER star by letting her share their family home with her childhood sweetheart for two years.

Jolie says, "Are you ever emotionally developed enough to be involved in that kind of relationship?

"He lived in our house with my mom and brother (JAMES HAVEN), so it wasn't like we were on our own, and I could always talk to my mom if there were any problems.

Meanwhile, Angelina is slated to film new movie A Mighty Heart with Brad co-producing in India for 13-15 weeks. Angelina agreed to go ahead with the flick at her mother’s persuasions, and with the agreement that she can leave the set at any time to visit her mother. However, as power outages and heat waves threaten to prolong filming; Angelina may be on the verge of a breakdown. She is taking on one of the most challenging roles of her career, playing Marianne Pearl, and at the same time is forced to abandon her role as her mother’s caregiver all while recovering from giving birth only 5 months ago to son Shiloh, and caring for Maddox, 5 and Zahara, 21 months. However, sources say that in her time of need, Angelina can lean on Brad, howwho is notorious for being “strong and dependable,� and “like a rock,� who will help her through her struggles.
