It was hardly a shock when Whitney Houston filed for separation from Bobby Brown, her husband of 14 years, earlier this week. The only question was how these two managed to stay together so long to begin with. Houston has battled with drug addiction and Brown has done jail time - their relationship was hardly stable. The news of their separation also came on the heels of rumors that Brown had been in a relationship with Karrine “Superhead Steffans, the author of Confessions of a Video Vixen.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Bobby has been staying with Karrine in her Beverly Hills home. The paper spoke with Steffans about her role in the split. She said, " It's not my place to speak about their marriage…I'm not a home-wrecker. I got dragged into this. I can't break up a 16-year marriage in a few months. I'm not that super."
Insiders claim that Karrine and Bobby are not really an item and that he is just staying with her while he gets things straightened out. In terms of Whitney’s decision to leave Bobby, a friend of his told NYDN, "It's not like Bobby didn't see this coming. He and Whitney hadn't been living together for months. But it was a blow."
It would be so nice to see her make a come back without the moneysucking drug addict-best choice she's made in along time. I hope she sticks with it and goes through with it-
