Brody and Nicole actually grew up together and have been friends for years, but they only recently started dating. A friend of the couple told Star, "Nicole is vivacious and has a great personality. This is [Brody’s] dream come true - he's always had a crush on her, and he's finally won her over!"

Another insider confirmed Brody’s feelings. "Brody thinks she's a sweetheart,�? says the source. But Jenner’s attraction to Richie doesn’t stop at her personality. The informant continues, “He also likes that Nicole has a lot of money, so she can afford to go places, something [his ex-girlfriend] Kristin [Cavalleri] didn't have. Nicole can also help him with his career [as a rock drummer and actor]. I don't think he's trying to get back at Kristin, but he does think Nicole is on a higher level than her!"

Even if Jenner’s intentions aren’t completely romantic, Richie’s still been swept over her feet. Another insider told Star, "Nicole likes that Brody treats her so well. He's such a gentleman. She's never had that before! Brody stands up when she leaves the table, even if she's only going to the ladies room. He stands up again when she comes back. He was brought up that way and she appreciates it!"
