Grammy-winning pop star,Pink is set to become one of the more recognizable voices of the National Football League Sept. 10 when her new song, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," gets the party started before NBC's first Sunday Night Football broadcast reports E Online
"This is something so different for me," Pink said in a statement. "It's like hearing yourself on the radio for the first time. I'm such a huge football fan that it's a great time."
In other news, Pink has hinted she wants to quit pop music to be a housewife.
The 'Stupid Girls' singer - who married US motocross star Carey Hart in
January - says she feels "trapped" by her showbiz career and can't wait to
stop her gruelling schedule to be with her new husband.
She said: "If I tire of being on the road I'll give it up. I hate feeling
trapped.
"Carey and I have hardly seen each other since we got married. I just want
to go home and chill out.
"I want to spend time in the garden, eat healthily, and detox from being on
the road."
The feisty 26-year-old also revealed she loves performing in Britain because
she is a huge fan of pubs and the national dish of fish and chips.
She said: "I'm looking forward to coming to Britain. I love going out with
friends to pubs in the middle of nowhere and just having really greasy fish
and chips."
Pink's European tour kicks off in Zurich on September 27. She plays at
London's Wembley Arena on October 4.
