An eyewitness told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "She was sobbing and kept saying she was Paris Hilton and she didn't understand - all she wanted to do was dance!"
After being refused entry to the club, Paris, her entourage and rumoured boyfriend Brandon Davis decided to try a few other clubs but police told her the entire street was being closed off due to overcrowding, so her limousine was not allowed through.
Paris' embarrassing snub came just a day after she was unable to attend two MTV Music Video Awards pre-parties.
The socialite-turned-singer had hoped to attend Diddy's bash at Bungalow 8 as well as another warm-up party, but police closed the New York street where the club is located to all vehicles, and despite Paris's protests, would not give her access.
Meanwhile, Hilton has become friends with Madonna since the pair, who are both signed to the same record label, met recently. Despite the savage reviews and poor sales of her debut album PARIS by critics, she has already found a fan in JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, and now the MATERIAL GIRL.
Hilton says, "I met Madonna in London and she said it was a credit to hear my album.
"I went to her concert in Vegas and saw her at the after-party. She's just so nice. I really look up to her. She's amazing."
In other news, after doing promotion for her recent pop album, club-hopping socialite Paris Hilton was seen in Las Vegas’ PURE club. She was cozied up with former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker until 4 a.m., possibly providing comfort to the rocker who is currently involved in a nasty divorce with Shannon Moakler reports Star Magazine.

GOOD! I'm glad someone finally said no to her in the nightclub scene.....I can't believe clubs paid her to show up anyway-what a dream come true that would be, goes to show you nothing lasts forever

I did cry, I had had a really tough day. All I wanted to do was chill and hang out. I understand I am Paris Hilton, but somedays I just gotta forget public image and chill.
