I am glad I am not the only one blinded by Jolies' acting even when it comes to careing about others. Thank you Nicole for telling it how it really is.

Petty, petty, petty... Kidman is getting smaller and shorter for making comments like this. Is she looking for publicity by blasting at another actress? Is it a worthy cause? Shouldn't she concentrate on her marriage to make sure that her husband doesn't go back to drugs?

I think Angelina is very serious, about helping others. She doesn't do it for attention. I don't know about Nicole. But her comment was un-called for.
I like both actresses.

Angelina should take a few lessons from Nic on how to protect kids, not exploit them for ones personal gain and promotion. Nic is one of the few Hollywood parents whos doing it right.

Good going Nicole. I have been saying for years now that their are so many famous people in the entertainment industry that have been doing charity work, giving large portions of their earnings to many charities and most of all recognizing all the unknown people they have met on their charity ventures, and giving credit to the people who work daily in these 3rd world countries for no money and not using their charity work/contributions as publicity. If you are truly sincere about giving to others less fortunate, you do not need to call the press and ask them to follow you around and take pics. Oprah does enormous amounts of charity work both in the US and abroad, and most people are not aware of even half of her contributions and on hands work. Angelina does nothing more than many other people do; the only thing Angelina does expect is public notoriarity, which by the way, makes her more of a commoditiy in the entertainment business. The more famous you are, the more money you make in the entertainment business, isn't that right Angelina? Giving to others has raised your paycheck and everyone forgot about your incestous relationship with your brother.

Angelina has been involved in humanitarian work for years, as has a lot of people in the world. She just happens to be famous. Using her celebrity to bring attention to causes that need attention is a smart thing to do. Nicole should have done that a LONG TIME AGO. Instead of slamming Angie (which means slamming Oprah, Bono, other celebrities)for getting attention, Nicole should keep her insecure mouth shut. That way, she wouldn't come-off sounding like a jealous B****.

I doubt very much if Nicole made this comment. If she did, that would be proof she is doing charity work for the publicity. Angelina does not alert the press every time she does charity work. Pictures of Angelina sell for big money. The paparazzi will not skip putting food on their tables just because so many people (mostly women) are so jealous and bitter towards her. She has been doing chartity work for six years with very little attention, until She and Brad fell in love. She gives one third of her pay to charities. I would think that right there is proof of her dedicaion. She does alot more hands on than a nurse would. There is no comparison to working as a humanitarian in a third world country, to that of a nurse in a hospital. As for Oprah she does give alot and do alot for people, but most of the chartity work is publicized on her own show. That is how you spread the word. People are inspired by their idols. Angelina has inspired alot of people to do charity work. Some of you may hate Angelina, but you can`t take away the fact that she is a good and kind humanitarian. The comment about Angie and her brother is uncalled for. They have a kind of relationship most don`t. My brother and I are in our 40`s and we have people laughing around us because of how we pick on each other. I always give hime a kiss and hug when I see him. That doesn`t make it incest. I feel sorry for people like you who have so much hate in their hearts.

I seriously doubt that angelina does the things she does for publicity - i think people just happen to take pictures of her while she's doing it. I mean, seriously, do you think she like adopted her children for publicity - it's pretty much saying the same thing. Nicole Kidman shouldn't even be talking about her as i'm almost certain she has NO IDEA why Angelina Jolie does the things she does. She has no right to judge someone for helping others. They're still getting the help they need.

I think what Nicole said was probably taken out of context. Angelina definitely doesn't use charity work for publicity. She knows the spotlight is on her right now so she wisely focuses that light on places like Cambodia, Haiti, Ethiopia, Namibia,Pakistan, Darfur and now New Orleans. I guess those who criticize her don't notice that it's others who sing her praises and not herself. People like Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, Dr. Jane Goodall, Sen. Hillary Clinton, and Kofi Annan who have worked with her on various humanitarian projects.
She's the real deal - whether you like her or not.

Nicole Kidman is nothing but a self-absorbed husband stealing (Cruise) untalented ho that has made it to the big screen thru Tom. She won't even have kids so she can still look her ho best. She is obnoxious, supersilious, and without children herself and doing charity work for the publicity. Angelina has the courage to be who she is personally without some ugly wanna be actress trying so desparetly to get attention, by using Angelina and her good deeds. She can't even get attention by doing it herself. She has to try and make herself look good by bashing someone else who efforts are genuine You never make yourself look better by trying to make someone else look bad. Doesn't the ho have a grandmother to tell her things like this.
