Jessica Simpson too sexy to sing Christian music

Pop singer-turned-actress Jessica Simpson has revealed that she was banned from singing at church, as she was considered too sexy to sing Christian music.

"They would never let me sing solos in church, because they said I made the men in the congregation lust!� Contactmusic quoted her as telling Allure magazine.

"I was always criticized for my looks in the Christian world. They said I was too sexy to sing Christian music,� she added.

The ‘Public Affair’ star also revealed that her breasts disabled her from achieving what she wanted to do.

"Judgmental is the absolute worst thing about Christianity, I believe. But I was always so shy about them because I felt they disabled me from achieving what I wanted to do,� she said.

And, it seems that the same impression about Simpson still sticks with Christian groups, as she and her sister Ashlee were recently blasted for using their beauty and bodies to promote their careers.

Earlier this week, Jessica and her sister Ashlee were slammed by a Christian
minister for using sex to sell their music.
Reverend Bob Harrington, also attacked father Joe - who was formerly a
Baptist minister.
Harrington fumed: "Their father has replaced his faith in the Lord with the
love of money, which is the root of all evil. He has replaced holiness with
horniness.
"Jessica and Ashlee will reap the dismal crops they are sowing. Their
breasts will sag and their faces will wither and they will be left with
nothing but a hollow shell."
