Jack Osbourne once tried to commit suicide in a hotel room.
The 20-year-old TV presenter - son of Ozzy Osbourne - confessed his depression became so accentuated by his addictions to alcohol and the painkiller OxyContin that he once tried to take his own life.
Jack revealed that the incident occurred after he rang the girl he was dating from his New York suite and her ex-boyfriend answered the phone.
Writing in his new book 'Jack Osbourne: 21 Years Gone' he said: "That was yet another rejection that I wasn't in a state to deal with.
"That night I started cutting myself. I sliced up my hands with a broken bottle. I then reached for a bottle of absinthe that I had in my hotel room, mixed it with water and chugged as much as I could.
"It wasn't easy to keep down, but eventually I knew I had drunk a hefty amount, so I looked around and found several bottles of pills: Soma, Xanax and Dilaudid, a pretty potent cocktail of prescription opiates.
"I helped myself to a handful, swallowed them and climbed into bed. I lay there, my hands bleeding and my head spinning, as I waited for death to take me."
Jack, who has his own British TV show 'Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie', revealed he woke up twelve hours later and immediately called his therapist.
He added: "There was no small talk. I was weeping down the phone, 'I think I tried to kill myself last night.'"
In his new book, Jack also reveals that his lip lock with super model Kate Moss was huge for him.
âWe hang out now and then but there was never really any more to it than that. I was invited to celebrate her birthday at a club in Los Angeles called Teddies in January, so of course I went. As the evening progressed I found myself on the dance floor with Kate. One thing led to another, and before I knew it we were kissing,â? he writes
âBut there was little more to it than that. Needless to say, the rumors didn't take very long to fly around the globe and soon - in the eyes of the media - Kate and I were an item. Like I say, not the worst rumor, but a little off the mark,â? he adds
