Eddie's not scared of loving Melanie

Though there was much skepticism about their relationship to begin with, Eddie Murphy and Melanie Brown (a.k.a. Scary Spice) show no signs of cooling down. According to People magazine, the couple recently vacationed together in Hawaii along with their children.

Brown’s 7-year-old daughter and Murphy’s five children (aged 4-16) joined the couple for a stay in a $10,700-a-night luxury suite at Maui's Four Seasons Hotel. The trip, which took place late last month, allowed the children to get to know each other and to go body surfing and boogie boarding. A witness to one of the group’s beach visits said, "There was a lot of togetherness between the families."

Melanie and Eddie only met in June, but they seem to be very smitten with one another. Melanie’s mom has said, "They are both very happy." Eddie’s brother Charlie agrees. He says, "[Eddie] seems very happy with her, and that's what's important to me. He's in a good place. If she does that [for him], then that's great."
